Thanks to the Lake Placid reunion, I got to thinking about my addiction to a certain movie. And that gave rise to a list of thirteen things I watch way too often. Newsy

Big news around here this weekend… Thanks to the delightful Audrey Lusk, Fantasy Heights will be coming to you in audio! I’d about given up hope that this would ever happen, so this is fantastic. In other news, no one is allowed to be interesting this week, or even look at me in a friendly fashion until these revisions are finished and Hellfire gets sent to the beta team. Too Much Fun

I don’t do this often, but I have to share a recommendation. This book was the most fun I’ve had reading in a long time: The Martian by Andy Weir Yes, it’s sci-fi. Honestly, I don’t think it matters which genre(s) you prefer, this book is so personable and entertaining, pretty much anyone would enjoy it. What an awesome read. Thank you, Andy.

Prezzies

(Prepare yourselves: I’m about to show off my craptastical skills with the camera phone.) Have I mentioned lately that I have the best readers in the history of ever? One of them — *cough* RHONDA *cough* — knows how to make me smile. I am a total nail-polish freak. It’s sorta hard to tell in these shots, but the color-change polish really does change color between light sources. The difference is more pronounced in the pink/coral color than the blue/gray one, but still completely awesome. Exhibit A: Exhibit B: That was a really fun experiment, so thank you!
