Morning, everybody. I know we’re a week past deadline and patience is wearing thin. I’ve just sent the book off for one last round with Emma (editor) for what we all hope is the last round of polish.
This won’t take a lot of time, but it is extremely nerve-wracking because we know we’ve reached a ‘point of no return’ with this episode. Virtually every small reveal, every scrap of exposition, affects not only books eight and nine, but reaches way out into the continuation of this series as well.
That is why we are being extra OCD about this episode. I apologize profusely for the delay.
Also, I did mention last week that I might talk more about the delay on the forums, and that could still happen. I’ll try to get the thoughts out right after I get done sending Joy some sort of bribe so she doesn’t kill me, even though I totally have it coming.
