Since I’m starting to get requests to hear more about the next release The Nights Of Yes, I figured I’d send us into the holiday weekend with a short FAQ. I do not yet have the back-cover copy description done. The deadline for that isn’t until Friday, and since Mr. Silver will be home, I’m sure you all know me well enough by now to know that no way is that sucker getting posted until next week.
Okay, so that’s our provisional cover. It’s not quite final, but you get the idea.
Q. IS THIS PART OF A SERIES?
A. No. In fact, the reason I worked this release and the next one into the schedule is because it wasn’t part of a series. I needed a break from the FH multiverse.
Well, there is one tiny connection to FH, but if you blink you’ll miss it.
Q. NOVEL? NOVELETTE? HOW LONG IS THIS THING?
A. Around 75k, so this is close to a full-length novel.
Q. WHAT’S THE GENRE?
A. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it romantic suspense, but there is definitely a suspense element.
Q. WHAT’S THE HEAT LEVEL?
A. It’s a lot tamer than Fantasy Heights but I would still call it erotic romance.
Q. WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
A. At its core it’s a friends with benefits story. The hero and heroine make an agreement to spend their Saturday nights together. As is typical with me, you have to ask “What could possibly go wrong?” And of course the answer is “lots.”
Q. WHEN’S THE RELEASE DATE?
A. We’ve still got a good ways to go on editing. I shall gang up with Team Yes, be optimistic and say “before Christmas”.
