You may have noticed the lack of posting around here. I’m sorry about that. With Mr. Silver on the road, I am stretched thinner than a photo-shopped model. Here’s a short list of updates: The New Girl AUDIO is complete and should start popping up next weekend-ish. Thank you Audrey! Das Editor gifted me with Pressure‘s revision notes yesterday. I’m sure I’ll get started on those just as soon as the bleeding stops. (Holy shit, I pay someone to be that mean?) It’s highly probable that a novella will beat Pressure through the editing queue. Welcome to a post about [probably] the most misunderstood pair of phrases in the world of editing: “Passive Voice” vs. “Boring Voice” Passive Voice is about one thing, and one thing only: the relationship between a sentence’s subject and object.
