Tuesday Confession

This has recently been brought to my attention… CONFESSION: Every time I revise a/o edit, I watch these three things repeatedly. 1) Alien 2) Buffy, Season 1 3) Galaxy Quest This apparently drives Emma and my entire family nuts. You’d think they’d be used to it by now — Every time I go on a cleaning binge, either Drop Dead Gorgeous, Mean Girls or Clueless is on the DVD player. Hmm… I think there’s a pattern there, somewhere.

Confession Tuesday

It’s funny how many twists and turns Fantasy Heights has taken behind the scenes. A lot of stuff got pitched and brainstormed and sometimes even story-boarded, but then tossed out for whatever reason. CONFESSION: At one time, the climax of season 1 was going to be Amanda finding out she was a DriveRate operative with created memories. Darren was her ‘programmer’. He incorporated Shelley and the wedding into Amanda’s treatment to keep her vulnerable to him.

Tuesday Confession

I never really understood irrational fear until two years ago, when I happened across a picture on one of the I Can Has Cheezburger blogs. It showed a foot sporting a pedicure with long toenails. I wigged. (And no, don’t even ask me to post a link. I’d rather punch a kitten in the face than go looking for that picture.) To this day, in the summer, you won’t catch me looking lower than someone’s knees, just in case they might have froufrou toenails.

Confession Tuesday

CONFESSION: I use cartoony covers for FH because, during early development, I thought the series/serial format would work sorta like comic books. I’ve never written — and never will write — a superhero fantasy because of the laugh-until-your-sides-and-face-ache editing sessions where we dreamed up ‘sexual superhero’ powers for all the characters.
