Thank God It’s… Not Snowing Right Now

Happy Friday! Yesterday, we actually had two winners for the TNOY drawing: Sally and Kaynbfe. Congrats, you two. Also, I’ll sneak this opportunity to thank both Eileen and Cath for posting reviews. I do appreciate you taking the time. Lots of writing to get done today. Also a lot of taxi-ing. The middle kid needs to get to his hair appointment later if I have to carry him via snowshoe…

Sneak Peek

Because I am SO very glad to be writing again, here’s a tiny sneak peek of the next book in queue. I’d share the title if I knew for sure what it would be. It’s a ‘marriage of convenience’ steamy romance. Have I mentioned that MOCs are my very favorite romance trope?

The Nights Of Yes

EDIT TO ADD Okay, so if you ever want to watch an author go into a cold panic, call them at 11:12 PM and ask, “Um… Which version of the production file did you convert? I just downloaded off Amazon, and there’s mistakes in there from two rounds ago.” Yeah. I converted and uploaded the wrong version the first time. That rhythmic thumping sound you heard was my skull against the wall. Anyway, the CORRECT version has been converted and uploaded everywhere but Barnes & Noble. I’ll fix that as soon as it’s done processing. (Done!) If you’ve already purchased and downloaded, please grab the update with my sincere apologies… Read More

I Pied The Piper

So how was everyone’s weekend? Ours was good. Mr. Silver was home and aside from an incident while playing Cards Against Humanity (wherein he laughed so hard he threw up) we had a delightfully pedestrian, Midwestern-normal time. Back into the editing/revisions cave this morning. Possibility of school getting out early due to snow and freezing rain, so I need to hustle before I’m besieged with jubilant teen-aged boys. Have a great Monday!

Holiday Week

Here in the states, we’re gearing up for Thanksgiving. Also Black Friday, on which I will NOT be shopping, thank you very much. (Don’t get me started on this subject. I will likely piss someone off to a vast degree.) Anyway, my schedule goes full haywire from here until next Monday, so everyone have a safe and wonderful week. Read lots of books!

Things To Know

First, if you see something new on Amazon and B&N tomorrow, don’t freak out thinking it’s new Fantasy Heights stuff. I just finally got our collective crap together enough to release the compilation Season One file. It has to be uploaded to Smashwords by the second of December, so it will show up there soon…ish, too. Also, this is becoming a thing: First person to make a Knights Who Say Ni joke gets locked in a closet with Emma for a month. (Note: To clarify, this is not a desirable outcome.)

Fly By Night

I am wicked busy behind the scenes this week. We’re trying to finalize some cover art so that I can FINALLY add a new Erotic Romance page to the site. Woo hoo! Meanwhile, back in the trenches, more revising and editing and writing going on. And speaking of which… Have a great Monday

Earworms

For the last four or five days, I’ve had the worst earworm from the movie French Kiss. It’s the song Meg Ryan sings about Paris. They show it at the very beginning of the movie trailer. Well, they cut off the “I hate Paris in the spring time, I hate Paris in the fall” part, but still. I’m going to take the The Ring approach in the hopes that passing it along will make it go away. Enjoy!

mmm Candy

(I started my day with Judas Priest’s Breaking The Law — which naturally led to Five Finger Death Punch, and then Offspring — so I’m already a little excitable. Beware.) First: Happy Halloween! Cosplay and chocolate, two things we hold quite near and dear. Second: Regarding Fantasy Heights, Season Two. I do not yet have a release date on this. We are experiencing a delay because one of my biggest concerns about Season Two is the serial roll-out format. This time, the interval between episodes needs to be much, much shorter. I don’t think anyone would be displeased with that, except there’s a price to be paid for a faster… Read More
