I needed to wake (the hell) up a little faster than usual this morning, so I resorted to ye old MP3s on shuffle. Out of thousands of songs on here, these were the first 3 songs to play: 1) Foolin’ (Def Leppard) 2) Synchronicity II (The Police) 3) Jeremy (Pearl Jam) What were your first three songs today?

Confession delayed this week because we’ve hit a snag that’s having some interesting ramifications. If you have a moment, please tell me how you read ebooks. Do you have a dedicated device like the Nook or Kindle or Sony? Do you read on your PC? Laptop? Phone? If phone, which app do you use? Any input is very much appreciated. The information will really help us make our resources easier to use.

Despite the fact I really shouldn’t be on the internet on April Fools Day because I am ridiculously gullible (even after the morning cuppa), today I’m going to talk about what I’ve got in store once Fantasy Heights’s Book 9 releases. And just to be clear, this is NOT an April Fools-type post. This is actually what’s coming up next from Meg Silver. What will happen with Fantasy Heights?: Book 9 ends the first “season” of the psuedo-serial, but Fantasy Heights will continue. Most primary cast members (like Amanda, Josh and Thomas) will remain in the stories, though they won’t be in the spotlight. Other characters (like Ben and Scott)… Read More

Someone please tell me this was intentional…
Continue ReadingFor Forum Members
Update: If you were a member of the old Meg Silver forums, you will automatically become a member of the new forums. You will receive an email once you’ve been added; people will be added in batches and unfortunately, I have no idea on the time frame. Emma, my right hand who’s helping do all this stuff, has a day job in accounting, and it’s tax season. So she’s a little swamped, and I’m a little useless when it comes to some of this technical stuff. Thanks for your continued patience.

Confession: I have never seen Cameron’s Titanic. [The one with Rose and Jack and the frozen babies (hence the no-watchy)].
Continue ReadingCoffee, I Love You
Things are getting back to normal around here. I love it. What I DON’T love is my inability to find some notes I made about two weeks ago. You’d think, as long as I’ve been doing this, I’d know better than to leave something on my desk, but noooooooo…. Have a great Monday. Make someone else’s Monday a great one, too.

Today’s deep thought: Will I still be able to wear my favorite orange sweater once I’m no longer jaundiced?
Continue ReadingImpatient Patient
Everything’s going well, here. I’m still sore and loopy, but definitely on the mend. Thanks for your continued patience while we work on the site. (Well, while Emma works on the site. I only pretend to help, sitting here looking confused, mostly. I’m quite good at that.)
Continue ReadingSunday Confession
I’m doing the confession a little bit early this week for reasons that’ll soon be obvious. Confession: I haven’t been feeling too hot since about Thanksgiving. I finally went to the clinic Friday morning, went straight to the surgeon for one procedure, and by this time tomorrow (Monday), I will have evicted a very ornery gall bladder. So. Deadlines shot all to hell, website updates suspended (expect disruption), and it’ll be pretty quiet around here until one thought can follow another without veering off into la-la land. Not that they ever can, but still. Happy St. Paddy’s, everyone.
