Happy Friday! I’m back from visiting Mr. Silver, and back to work. Today I get to readjust deadlines and finalize the schedule for some Season Two targets. Yay! And for inspiration today, we have some Breaking Benjamin…

Busy week ahead: polishing up Episode 10 and working on 11 and 12… Also, I’m travelling east this week to visit Mr. Silver. It’s our 20th anniversary Wednesday. He can’t get away, so I’m going to him this time (leaving three teenagers at home alone — heaven help us all). Have a great week!

Okay, so I decided to get a really bad cold to celebrate summer; I slept through the last two days, and sleep still seems like an awesome idea. However… Here’s a little something to wake us all up:

Jeez — I disappear for a weekend and return to find the Amazon vs. Hatchette Armageddon all over my inbox. I’m gonna go hide in the toil box, now, keeping my head down, making no sudden movements.

Mr. Silver is home, so you can imagine how much work is getting done around here (ZERO — I’m not panicking at all. Seriously. No really, I mean it.) Here in the States, it’s Memorial Day weekend. We live quite near a cemetery where they hold ceremonies each year which include the firearms salute. Some people complain about the noise. In this house, we’re grateful for the reminder that the holiday is not all about sales, fishing, bbqs and mosquito repellent. On that more-somber-than-usual note, I’m gonna go admire das husband’s lawn-mowing prowess (and pretend not to be choking on pollen). Have a great weekend!

Awesome. Small Triumphs submissions

…and it will finally hit the seventies(F) this week. Yes! Not that I will be outside for any of it — I’m beginning to feel a bit like a Gringot’s goblin, but it’s so much fun to be working full-time on Fantasy Heights again. (And there’s a lot less tree pollen in the dungeons. Bonus.) Another reminder to sign up for the contest/giveaway email list. Before we launch FH Season Two there will be contests and giveaways exclusive to that list, so please be sure to get yourself on that loop. Off with me. I hope everyone’s safe and sound, and having a happy Monday.

We’ve been going over the promotional schedule for Fantasy Heights Season Two (such as it is) and it’s becoming increasingly obvious, what with Facebook needing to pay the bills and all, that we’ll have to rely on our own assets to keep our readers informed. (Y u no Twitter? I LURVE Twitter.) Also considering the types of partying we’ve planned (and shameless teasing) before episode 10’s release, people will want to sign up for the new contest notification email loop. This is a SEPARATE loop from the new release announcement loop. This one could eventually score you an advanced reading copy of Episode 10, as well as get first dibs… Read More

What it’s like at the Silver household: “If you’re from Tatooine, why are you white?” “Oh, my God, Leia. You can’t just ask Stormtroopers why they’re white.”

Oi — yesterday was a blur of dentist, errands and choir concerts. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I have no idea how single parents do this. Do you all have Hermione’s time-turner or something? In other news, leading up to Fantasy Heights Season Two, I’ve decided to leave Season One bundle at the $6.99USD sale price. Also, if you buy the print version, a digital version license is currently FREE through Amazon’s Matchbook program. The third Calais County book will likely get mushed in between Fantasy Heights episode releases; the production schedule on Season Two is pretty tight, and right now there’s just not time to… Read More
