I remember when I used to think Small Triumphs was a fun idea. And then THIS lands in the submission pile with NO EXPLANATION WHATSOEVER. One can only assume congratulations are in order. Aren’t they, Rob? Rob? Come on, man. You’re killin’ me, here. eMail me some detail.

Mr. Silver came home for a visit this last weekend, which was awesome. What wasn’t awesome were the side-effects, including long lists of things put on the back burner while he was home (like anything even remotely resembling work). Also the protests from our imaginary friends at Fantasy Heights. They don’t like to be ignored. When they get ignored, I have weird dreams like I did last night, which started with me lending two sets of Collectors Edition Stargate SG-1 action figures to a fan-con. Naturally, the figures got stolen, and the dream ended at a shopping mall where a murderer got tossed off the roof after killing someone over… Read More

Last post today, I swear. While looking at the Lovers Walk contest-entry database, I noticed that two questions got asked repeatedly, so I’ll answer them here where everyone can see. Q. Will there be any more Fantasy Heights? A. Yes. Season two is currently in development. The first episode is due to go out to beta-readers very shortly. I do not have an ETA on the launch. Please be patient. I need to have lots of episodes in the can before we release the first so that the lag-time between each episode can be shorter. Q. Will the Calais County books ever see print? A. Yes. Once all three (planned)… Read More

So I’m on the phone this morning with Emma, who says I have a memory with more holes than a congressional hearing. (Okay, that’s not what she really said, but I’m on my third cup of coffee and things can get a little hyperbolic around here even without the joy juice.) I was supposed to post this yesterday, and completely spaced it off. A bit of trivia about Lovers Walk: The attorneys mentioned — Tami and Bryce — are named after two long-time readers who have both written in at one time or another. Hi, guys! You made it into print!

Hey, everybody! Today, we’re working on cover art. (Poor Joy) We’re getting a little burnt out on revisions. Right now, we’re at the point where we hate EVERYTHING, so we figured we’d come to you all for opinions. Original: Revamp: Original: Revamp: Fire away… Like the new concepts? Prefer the old ones? Anything? Discuss. ETA: We’re going for a walk. Back in a few.

According to Amazon, this series-numbering glitch was a bit more complex than they thought, so it could be mid-May before their series links produce accurate results. I’m sorry if this ticks new readers off. I did update all Amazon files so that the complete Season One listing contains all nine episode names, but… Yeah. It’s a temporary problem. I do think it’ll be a great change for everyone who likes series/serials. (Eventually) Back to the revision cave. Have a great Wednesday.
