Morning, everybody. Book 8’s release date will be February 2013. This gives us extra time to clean up from its major overhaul. I’m actually still patching a couple spots, and because both Emma and I have been over (and over) this episode so many times, we need to let it rest a bit. Sort of like a roast. Only without the fat. And way more sex. Also, Joy’s sense of humor has once again reared its passive-aggressive head: I still love her despite such provocation. Remember this one?

Morning, everyone — I’m taking a break in my oh-my-God-everyone-out-east-is-turning-into-a-Jack-and-Rose-reenactment panic attack to announce I’ve made the decision to delay Wish Her Well‘s release; the episode is nearly ready. It’s just… not ready. On the upside, it’s weighing in at 28,000+ words, making it the longest episode by far (which is what’s slowing us down so much). The delay won’t be too terribly long. Now that das editor and I have finally finished carving on book 6, I figure it’s safe to take a breath and give an update about its release. We are still shooting for a Labor Day weekend release. (About two weeks from now) I hope to get an excerpt up next Monday. In other news, I plan to spend a good deal of this week mucking around with covers and ebook coding so if you see graphics changing and etc, you’re not losing your mind.
