Contest Winners

Ah, Monday. I hope everyone had a great and safe Fourth weekend. This morning, I got off to a late start (oh God — life is interesting with teenage boys, sometimes) but we did draw contest winners and send off files. Our winners were: Janine Sally Lynda Ladies, you should have files in your inboxes by now. Any issues, give us a holler at: Notes from the contest: Due to one winner’s name, I had to change a character’s name in an upcoming project, else she would have been a bad guy. I sent someone else a bundle, just because her personalization request made me laugh. I’m so easy. Anyway,… Read More

Contest Weekend!

Congratulations to Hannah, who won our first-ever GoodReads giveaway! Your shiny-new print book is already on its way. Thank you to everyone who entered. To celebrate our first-ever win, let’s do it again over here on megsilver.com. This time, I’ll give away three personalized copies of the Fantasy Heights, Season One e-book. The digital bundle is not yet available for sale, so the lucky winners will be the first three people to have it. The files will be available in PDF, EPUB or MOBI. To enter, all you have to do is put your name and e-mail in this form. I’ll leave the contest to run through midnight, Sunday, seventh… Read More

Busy Week

Today we wrap up the Goodreads giveaway. If you haven’t entered yet, today is the last day to win a free, autographed copy of the Fantasy Heights Season One print bundle. The bundle is also for sale on Amazon. This weekend, I finally compiled all nine Season One episodes into an e-book bundle. Though the digital version won’t hit retail outlets until November, the e-bundle will make a fun contest prize, I think. Keep an eye on stuff around here for random chances to win the digital bundle. In other news, a sort of pay-it-forward series is underway on the forums. Once completed, this will be a complete walk-through on… Read More

Speedy!

It’s live! Amazon and CreateSpace have been fantastically fast, so without further ado, I’m happy to announce that the first nine episodes of the Fantasy Heights series are now available as a print bundle. For now, the bundle is available exclusively through Amazon. Later, it will be available elsewhere, but because the price-tag will get pretty steep from other retailers, I’m keeping things centered on Amazon as long as possible. Next week (dates to be announced — I was woefully unprepared for Amazon and CreateSpace to be so speedy) there will be a GoodReads giveaway. I will keep you posted on that part once everything’s scheduled and approved.

Ai Chihuahua

Today, I’m creating a ton of new “improved” Fantasy Heights book files. Improved means they have new navigation, covers, and all the edits we had to do prior to print. These new ebook files should start pushing through Amazon, Smashwords and ARe over the next few days. Other venues will take longer. If you’re alerted by your retailer that an updated file exists, this is why. The bundled print edition is almost ready. I’m excited to see the whole thing put together, finally. I’ll post links once it’s all official-like. And I can’t wait for the file updates to be done because if I don’t get to write soon, I… Read More

Sly-jacked

This is actually Emma, editor of Fantasy Heights. Today, we’re going over the print proof for the seventieth time. To teach Meg that she should never leave me alone in her office with her computer logged into her blog and Hoot Suite, let’s make her hand hurt, shall we? Anyone who wants a free, signed Fantasy Heights Season One postcard, please use the contact form with POSTCARD in the subject line. In the body of the email, please include your name and mailing address exactly as it should appear on the envelope, line breaks included. Like she said on the forums last week, she’s not good at guessing how other… Read More
