Beer Bad

Okay, so I’m on temporary assignment to a different office that lets me stay home in the morning. HOME IN THE MORNING! Picture me cavorting around the office like an 80s movie walking-on-sunshine montage. Really, I’m drinking coffee with a cat in my lap, blogging, and fixing to go re-write a scene in episode 14. Have a great one!

Oh Where, Oh Where Can She Be?

Hey, everybody! Yeah, it’s been awfully quiet on this end; I always mean to post and then somehow it’s the next day and I’m wondering wtf just happened to 24 more hours. On my way home from work I started really questioning myself about where my time is going, and the idea has turned into this post. I’m sure a lot of you can relate to what’s going on with me right now. I need more than manions, at this point. I need a full cabinet. Not like a liquor cabinet (although some days that would be so awesome) but a cabinet like a secretary of state and secretary of… Read More

This Happened

Just when I think my friends can’t surprise me anymore, this lands in my inbox. I knew Joy wanted to work that photograph into the covers somehow to bring us a bit more inline with the rest of our genre, but I was not expecting anything like this… Yowza. All of season two will have similar refreshes. She won’t show me the season one overhaul yet. I ain’t even mad.

Holiday Hangover

Hey, everybody! Okay, I’ve just surrendered to the fact that I can either write, or I can blog, so I’ve been investing all my author time into the writing. That leaves things pretty quiet around here, but I figured, given the choice, y’all would rather I wrote instead of blogged, yes? For The Wicked‘s audiobook went live very recently, which means all of Fantasy Heights Season One is now available in audio. Thank you, Audrey Lusk! In other news, I’ve got two Sessions episodes and Fantasy Heights episode 14 in the pipeline. I still haven’t replaced Emma; the search continues. Anyway, I hope everyone had a happy holiday season. Stay… Read More

Updates

Somehow a month has gone by without a blog post. I swear I blinked a couple time and all of November evaporated out from under me, just like magic. Needless to say, things have been busy. Mr. Silver is back on the road for the winter (boo), and I’ve undergone a career change in the day job arena. Don’t get me wrong. I love my new job. It’s just aided and abetted this month’s utter disappearance. We’ve all (yes, this includes you readers) also undergone a major change behind the scenes. Since this is a season to express gratitude, I’d like to thank Emma very publicly for her help with… Read More

Wind Beneath My Coffee

So yesterday it was 80-something°F outside with nonstop sunshine. Today? 50°F with gale-force winds. [insert long-suffering Minnesotan sigh] Aaaanyway, today is the last day of the old writing schedule. Starting tomorrow, I don’t get into this office until 1pm Monday – Friday, and 11:30am Saturday. There will be no slow-downs in work, just a change to when I can do it. Situation normal. Just on its head, right? Have a great week!
