Away Message

Hey, everybody! I hope you’re all having a great weekend. This is a note to let you know that I will be out of touch for a couple days. I’ve got a family thing happening. Nothing too serious, just parents who require a little extra help right now, so I will be non-communicado for a bit. I’ll be able to keep an eye on email, but anything else (like the blog, Facebook, Twitter and retailers) will have to go ignored until I’m back in town. Thanks!

Pricing Structure Changes

Hey, everybody. If you haven’t noticed yet, starting with last weekend’s sale, I’ve made some pretty drastic changes to the Meg Silver pricing structure. Because I’ve been a long-time reader and long-time gamer, I know how it feels to see prices drop when I’ve paid premium prices for certain products. It sucks. I hate it, and I’ve put off these changes for half a year to avoid upsetting my readers who’ve stuck with me for a long, long time. HOWEVER — comma… there’s a simple explanation for why I’m caving in on the changes. Put succinctly, the rise to 2.99 per title works for some authors. I gave it a… Read More

Things Went Boom

So. We survived another July Fourth. The opportunity to blow stuff up makes this holiday Mr. Silver’s side of the family’s Christmas. It was loud and long and fun. Sadly, now I need to scrape my brain together and focus on getting Episode 11 out to the betas. Which could be interesting, as it’s still parted out like a stolen car at the moment… I hope everyone had a safe and peaceful holiday. No one be interesting today or I’ll fall behind on deadlines.

As The World Turns

The contest/giveaway mailing list just wrapped up a rack card giveaway. Lots of you will have goodies coming your way this week. Watch the mail for them; a couple of you had address issues, so please check your inboxes as well. In other news, we’ve pushed back the dreaded move. That collective sigh of relief you heard came from my children. Maybe not so much from me, but… In still other news, it turns out hand sanitizer takes pine sap out of long hair; a much better alternative to scissors, if you ask me. Enjoy your day! Off to revise, then it’s back to the dentist and the weekly provision… Read More

Review Roundup

We’re loving all the reviews so far for Paramour From Amazon.com Users: By C. VanSickle I received this book ARC. Can I just say I have missed Fantasy Heights. It is great meeting new characters like Sophie and Hector and also loved the character’s from season 1 like Ben. I believe you can read this series without reading season 1. I wouldn’t recommend it though. Season 1 is a great read. Meg highlights the important points from those books so you wouldn’t be lost. I love this author’s writing style and her books always leave you wanting more. Anticipating book 11. By BookObsessed There is no doubt Meg Silver knows… Read More

One Last FAQ

Happy Thursday! Today I’ll do one last FAQ about Paramour. It’s kinda spoilery if you haven’t read Episode 10 or the excerpts yet, so I saved it until after launch. (Again, paraphrased to combine different versions of the same basic question) Q: What’s with the new cast? Why can’t we carry on with Thomas, Josh and Amanda? The Sly Answer: We are carrying on with Thomas, Josh and Amanda this season… just not as our POV characters. The Director’s Commentary, TMI About What A Flake I Can Be, Boring Writer-y Answer: As much as we like the original trio, nine more episodes with those characters and conflicts would have gotten… Read More
