Today, I’m creating a ton of new “improved” Fantasy Heights book files. Improved means they have new navigation, covers, and all the edits we had to do prior to print. These new ebook files should start pushing through Amazon, Smashwords and ARe over the next few days. Other venues will take longer. If you’re alerted by your retailer that an updated file exists, this is why. The bundled print edition is almost ready. I’m excited to see the whole thing put together, finally. I’ll post links once it’s all official-like. And I can’t wait for the file updates to be done because if I don’t get to write soon, I… Read More

This is actually Emma, editor of Fantasy Heights. Today, we’re going over the print proof for the seventieth time. To teach Meg that she should never leave me alone in her office with her computer logged into her blog and Hoot Suite, let’s make her hand hurt, shall we? Anyone who wants a free, signed Fantasy Heights Season One postcard, please use the contact form with POSTCARD in the subject line. In the body of the email, please include your name and mailing address exactly as it should appear on the envelope, line breaks included. Like she said on the forums last week, she’s not good at guessing how other… Read More

There’s a new poll in the forums regarding All The Queen’s Men cover updates. If you’ve got a minute, please let us know which one you like best. I like them all, and Joy is Switzerlanding me, so you lot get to decide instead. In other news, the print process is clicking along nicely. I ordered the galley proof this morning. Yay!

We threw a graduation party yesterday. Today, I make the tough transition back to sedentary, nose-to-grindstone position. There’s a lot of nit-picky work on the agenda, which makes it extra difficult. I feel something rebellious coming on…

The only annoying thing about a long holiday weekend is the “Wait — Is it Monday or Tuesday?” confusion afterward. Though I’m still not sure which day it is, I do know that this week, we’re (mostly) working on getting ready for print. On deck today is continuing to go through all nine files, cleaning up stuff that Emma and I and the proofers missed. /twitch Thank God I get to write after lunch. Anyway, have a great TUESday.

Morning! It’s Memorial Day weekend here in the States while we take a time out — I hope — from disasters and scandals to remember the men and women of the armed forces. May their sacrifice never be forgotten. Also, my oldest graduates high school today. This is a problem. We’re having house guests, and I just released a book. I’m sure you can imagine what sort of shape this house is in. Think rubble, only with more cat hair and a really bored Pointer. Let there be coffee, right? If I’m somewhat slow responding to Facebook/Twitter/email/forum over the next couple days, I am either cleaning or feeding anything that… Read More

Just in time for the long weekend, here they come… Amazon US for Kindle Amazon UK for Kindle Amazon CA for Kindle Barnes & Noble for Nook Smashwords (all file types) AllRomance eBooks I will add new links as they go live. Forum Thread for Spoilery Stuff Please note: do not visit this thread until you’ve read the episode. There will be spoilers… in a thread named SPOILERY STUFF. (It’s perfectly okay to post spoilery stuff in the spoilery stuff thread. They have been warned.) Also, someone asked me for an episode-stat comparison a while ago. Here it is with the latest episode added.

Happy Monday! Obviously, with the excerpt up and running, we’re getting down to the wire on For The Wicked. I’ve still got some tweaks and polish to apply, but we’re really close. Stuff you need to know: 1) The “notify me” release announcement won’t go out until the episode is live at all of the following retailers: Amazon Kobo Smashwords AllRomance eBooks Barnes & Noble Most of you know that B&N takes the longest to process a new release. If you’re a Nookster and you see the episode cropping up elsewhere, fear not: it’s usually not far behind. Last time they were pretty quick, like about 12 hours after Amazon,… Read More
